How is a wooden card constructed?

The card can be built with wood veneer, core layers or other wood-based constructions. The structure is selected according to required thickness, rigidity, appearance and RFID/NFC inlay placement.

 

Can RFID or NFC be embedded into wooden cards?

Yes. RFID or NFC inlays can be integrated inside the card structure. Chip type, antenna configuration and inlay position are selected according to the required system and card construction.

 

Can wooden cards be printed or laser engraved?

Yes. Logos, graphics, numbering and other personalization can be produced by suitable printing or laser engraving processes. The final effect depends on the selected wood surface and grain.

 

Can we test RPVC cards before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We can provide pre-production samples for checking card appearance, printing, dimensions and RFID/NFC performance with your existing system.

 

Will the wood grain and color be identical on every card?

Not completely. Natural wood has inherent variation in grain, tone and texture. We can select the wood type and establish an agreed appearance range, but natural variation cannot be eliminated completely.

 

How durable are wooden cards in daily use?

Durability depends on the wood structure, thickness and surface treatment. Protective coatings can be used when the card requires better resistance to moisture, abrasion or frequent handling.

 

Can you make a sample before bulk production?

Yes. Samples can be developed to verify the wood structure, appearance, printing or engraving, dimensions and RFID/NFC performance before mass production.
